Students: At the end of the Fall 2009 semester, student email will migrate from the existing University email system to CatMail, powered by Google Apps for Education, including email, chat, calendaring, document sharing, website building, and more. Or opt in now!

Opting in now will create your CatMail account that you can use immediately, and put the contents of your old student email account into a migration queue to move to CatMail at the earliest opportunity. (Migration does not move attachments over 20 MB or your address book. You will have read-only access to your old account through January 2010 to ensure you can get all your data.)

Faculty and Staff: Faculty and staff may opt in to a CatMail account in order to have access to Google Apps for Education tools. Faculty and staff email will remain on the existing University email system, but all other apps will be available.
